There will be youth and adult seminars. Susan Kerr DVM and lead Washington
state extension officer will be our youth class teacher. She plans fun times for the kids in the classroom with games and
trivia meant to be fun and teach at the same time. She has received rave reviews from the kids who have attended her seminars
before.
Adult seminars will be taught by a variety of instructors and topics.
Cary Walton DVM will return by popular demand and give her kidding class. We hope to have a baby goat for her to demonstrate
on. She will also give a talk on CL and contagious diseases. Plan to be here for that !

Third Annual Northwest Champion Market Goat Sale:
Many champions and top placing market goats at county fairs around
Washington and Oregon were purchased at last year's sale, so we hope to see a good crowd again at the 2008 sale. April
Fool goats placed high and won many championships in counties all over Oregon and Washington. For results of the fairs visit

Our 2008 sale will feature top quality market goats from
breeders across the northwest. The sale will be by lottery to 4-H and FFA members with the price set at $100. This year the
lottery will not be divided by age groups of the goats, so that when your child's number is called, they will be allowed to
choose from any animal in the ring, giving your child the flexibility to choose the best goat available. Breeder locations
and weaning status will clearly be posted on their collar tags. More information will be posted here in the upcoming months.
