Foundation Does

We choose our foundation does based on mothering ability,
kidding ease, milk production and of course the beautiful kids they produce!  The moms need to be able to feed their kids. The ones who cannot do not stay here long. Expect the doelings you buy from us to have good mothering abilities and produce a lot of milk.
Their moms do.
We are a small ranch so our foundation does are also our show does.

Cow Creek Farrah has come to me from Texas by way of Shady Elm Boers. She is a monster of a doe but beautifully feminine and sweet at the same time. She makes a statement in the show ring or my pasture. She currently has 140 ABGA points, some non traditional.
Both of her '07 daughters from Quick Trick are terrific. Wichita, who is one of those daughters, took an Overall Grand Champion rosette at 6 months old.
Being bred to Downen P115 this summer

Copper Creek Wichita, daughter of Farrah and Quick Trick. She is the spitting image of her mom and  does as well in the show ring. Wichita has 65 points.  She will be bred to Downen P115 this summer.

Copper Creek Wingnut, daughter of Tornado above and ABF Excalibur.  She is the granddaughter of a National Champion buck, BDF Yatzee and a National Reserve buck, WWF Classic Man. She has been out for two show weekends and has 155 points, 3 Overall Reserve Champions and 1 Overall Grand...     so far... at less than 6 months of age.

WWF T56 ( Tornado)

WWF T56 who we have named Tornado for the way she handles on a lead. She is out of WWF Classic Man, the ABGA national reserve champion senior buck and a Fowler Livestock doe. She has been smoking them at the shows since she has been here. She has 2 championships and a reserve plus is Elite Ennobled in the USBGA. She is the most solidly built meat goat I own and probably the most correct.

2007 USBGA National Champion Doe
  Copper Creek Nina
The Eboney and Buri combination is a great matchup.
This is one of  their daughters. She was Grand Champion four times by the the age of 10 months. She is a full SA doe. She always has been one of my best does and is getting better as she ages. USBGA National Champion 2004

Tia2.jpg

Tia Maria is a fullblood RRD Gauge and Hilltop Hurricane granddaughter. She is a beautiful dark paint doe with an extremely wide back and loin. She could use a bit of length but her width puts her near the top of the class every time.
Being bred to ABF Excalibur this summer

Denali has grown into a beautiful doe. She is one of our largest girls and is very correct. She has thrown a solid red doe and three paints so far. Being bred to ABF Excalibur this summer

Percentage Herd

*******

What a Jewel!
Rollin Sage Jewel, that is. She is USBGA Elite Ennobled and well deserving of that title. She is one of our best does, percentage or fullblood.

wizard1.jpg

Copper Creek Wizard is a 50% doe sired by a Boerder Bandit son we really like. Wizard will stay here and show with us this season. She is doing very well. She is super stylish with a lot of feminine appeal. So far this year she has two Grands, 2 Reserve Grands and an Overall Reserve % doe.

Our newest addition, Willow. So new, we haven't even received her yet. She is bred by RR Resources in Oregon and will be moving up here in June. Hopefully she will be the foundation for our spotted % Boer herd.
Update.. Willow had two kids in May bred to a buck who throws spots. In staying with the contrarian attitude of color genes, she had two light brown solid kids.
Will be rebred in August. We are hoping for spots this time.

Astrid is a 50% Boer Kiko cross. We would like to clone her. She is a beautiful, well built girl who kids easily and takes very good care of her always show winning kids. She had a pair of the most striking paints last winter. This winter we hope for does. She is bred to Copper Creek Ryder for January kids.

Copper Creek White Sox is another Ryder doe. Long, straight backed, stylish and very meaty. She will stay with us to throw wethers and pretty doelings. We bred her to OB Red Warrior (White House Goats) this year and got a solid red PB boy and a solid red doeling. The doeling is sold but the buckling is available. He has spots! See the for sale page.
