Our Bucks

Copper Creek Warthog

He is a son of Ennobled Excalibur, Grand son of ABF Yatzee ABGA National Champion Buck. Warthog looks a lot like his daddy but we think he will be even better. He received 9 champion rosettes in 2008 with another 5 and Overall Reserve in 2009. His first kid crop already has the points to ennobled him as soon as they are inspected in March of 2010. He has 192 points as of 1/2010

Warthog, on his way to winning
Yearling Grand Champion Buck

Date of birth : December 12, 2007

Warthog was a hunk from the day he was born. We had a long line of wether customers that year and Warthog was scheduled to become one. Fortunately for him he just kept getting better and better. We really liked his pedigree, we loved his sire and his grand sire had won the National Grand Champion title the same year Warthog was born. Warthog  had 9 Grand Champion rosettes from June to October in 2008. We bred him to our best does that year.  Those kids brought home a trunk full of rosettes in 2009 and 4 of them gathered 164 points. Warthog will be ennobled this spring as soon as the inspections are done.

Warthog is available for breeding, here at our farm, to clean healthy does. If you need width from the forehead to the hip then you will like Warthog's kids. The top of the hip is wide and flat and he puts firm meat on his kids that you can see and feel.

He is bred to most of my herd for late 2009 and 2010 kids. 7 or 8 of those will start the show circuit in March.

Excalibur is extremely thick with a powerful butt. He has all the meat you will need on your kids. Cal combines that with correct structure, a strong topline and a wide stance.
His sire, BDF Yatzee
was the
2007 National Overall Grand Champion Buck
Yatzee is a full brother to BDF Power Source who was the 2005 ABGA National Grand Champion Buck and BDF Another Notch who is soon to be ennobled. The genes are strong in this family.
Excalibur and his kids have over 300 ABGA points. He has the most points of any Yatzee son.

Excalibur is already winning rosettes here in the NW. He took Overall Reserve at Walla Walla with Kyle Strickland. Cal's kids have over 300 points
